Get The Best Discounts When You Buy During These Months

Have your calendar handy, so you can mark down the following info that could save you a ton of money on everything under the sun.

You probably know that Black Friday and Cyber Monday are great times to buy stuff at deep discounts. But what about the rest of the year?

There are sales in all twelve months, and they don’t come by coincidence either. You can tell when certain things will go on sale due to past trends. To save you a ton of research, here’s a list that you can keep handy to get the most bang for your buck:

January

It comes as no surprise that you can get Christmas stuff on the cheap once the holidays are over. This means that if you know you’ll need to buy decorations, Christmas cards, or ugly sweaters next year, get them in January when retailers are clearing out their stock.

Calendars also are the cheapest in January, so wait until after the new year hits to get yours. Speaking of the new year, what about those resolutions? Many deal with fitness, which is why you’ll find the best deals in January on items like gym memberships, home fitness equipment, and scales to measure your progress.

January is also hot for sales on linens for your bed and other parts of the home. And if you need a TV and couldn’t snag one on Black Friday, don’t fret. The first month of the year has excellent TV deals since the newest models are revealed at the Consumer Electronics Show.

February

Get your linens on sale in January and your mattresses on Presidents Day weekend. You’ll probably need winter coats for next year, so snag some in February when they drop significantly in price. And if you can wait until after Valentine’s Day, you can find great deals on jewelry during this month too.

March

It’s the best month for buying luggage.

April

Need sneakers? Wait until April to get the best deals as this time of year is when it warms up, and people start going outside more.

May

You can get air conditioners, freezers, and refrigerators on the cheap during May. You can also get discounted baby supplies like strollers and high chairs.

June

Peak wedding season hits, which makes cookware highly affordable for those registry gifts. Outdoor supplies and vacation tickets are also hot items in June.

July

Wait until the Fourth of July weekend to buy new furniture.

August

Provided it’s not an Apple, get your computers during the back-to-school sales. You can also grab a cheap barbecue grill in August.

September

Swimsuits and Thanksgiving flights are best bought during this month.

October

Need jeans? Get them in October after the back-to-school sales are gone. You can also get low prices on leaf blowers and patio furniture before Halloween hits.

November

Small appliances like microwaves and blenders go on sale in November, as do wedding gowns.

December

If you need a swimming pool, you can get it in December at a much lower price than the rest of the year. Toys are a good buy too.
